Speakers, workshops, and MC

We are proud to announce Cimone Grayson as our MC for the event. Cimone is an award winning Carterton volunteer who is passionate about environment and community.

Speakers include (not yet finalised) representatives from:

• Harmony Energy - Speaker TBC (Providing opportunity for the community to hear from one of the utility solar farm developers.)
• Rewiring Aotearoa - Speaker TBC (On going all electric)
• Climate Change Commission - Grant Blackwell (Chief Science Advisor, Grant is an ecologist by training and has spent his career working on the interactions between people and the environment – first in natural ecosystems and production landscapes, and then at the interface between science, public policy and problem solving.)
• Watt Rods - Speaker TBC (On converting hot-rods to electric and replacing batteries)
• Ahu collective and Ahu environmental - Anaru Te Rangiwhakaewa (Ahu Collective is a platform of tāne and wāhine kaiahu (nurtures) who are passionate about the growth of people and spaces. This collective of Kaiahu all share lived experiences that are relatable to  hard-to-reach and disconnected whānau.
