Why Electrify Wairarapa? was an event held by Electrify Wairarapa, supported by Take the Jump, on 12 June 2025. Over 80 attendees listened to presentations by locals who had solar or heat pump hot water installed. This event had an informal feeling about it and the attendees were able to ask questions of both the presenters and representatives from Harrison's Solar, A2W plumping and hot water, and Hoskins Energy Systems.
